Website overview:
This is a standalone website exhibition of the artist Aubane Berthommé Martinez, whom I found on artoffice.nl. Its' user group are dominatrixes/fetish community, and I included a note to them in the "about" tab, explaining the concept to them.
The aim of this website is to inspire my user group, show them artworks covering topics of interest to them, as well as make them feel noticed as a social group. The artworks also make the viewer look at the presented topics from a new point of view, which I hope my user group would also do.
The website has 2 modes - the "normal" one, which is very toned down, that way you can look at all the artworks, zoom in on them and read about them. The "dark" mode though, is made to showcase some of the visual keys related to my user group. It adds an element of fun and points to who my user group is!
I also included a start and end date of this specific exhibition, hinting that this concept would be able to progress further in the future. Another artist who talks about another topic (e.g. intimacy, emotional bond etc.), could be showcased in the future. The exhibitions would annually change, letting this project expand.
