This is a small selection of the works by Aubane Berthomme Martinez.

I found this artist through artoffice.nl, which is a linked subpage on the bkor.nl website.

My aim was to find a small part of the big art collection, that will be relevant to my user group. This artist focuses on topics such as gender norms, sexuality, how we present and represent ourselves and more. The goal of showing this collection to my user group is to inspire them to look at such topics from a different perspective, as they are already interested and familiar with them. Another reason could be also to make them feel noticed in some way, as they are a heavily overlooked part of the society.

I wanted to interface it through a website, so it's easily accessible for this user group, as they are quite spread out. That way it would be easy to reach them all, and they would be able to view this content without having to physically travel somewhere.

This collection also makes it possible to grow this concept further, by switching the artists annually. This way the exhibition can evolve and cover different themes (this one is heavily based around nudity, gender etc., the next one could be about more subtle themes of sexuality such as communication and intimacy)
